    Major exhibition opening in 2025 explores romance novels and their cultural impact

    Curated by Associate Professor of Communication and Cinema Robert Lemieux, "Romancing the Novel" features original cover art, manuscripts, publicity materials, genre history, and fan artwork. The exhibition runs Monday, Jan. 6-Friday, March 7, with a public reception on Thursday, Feb. 6, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

    Business alumni find success with partnership graduate programs

    While McDaniel College offers a robust slate of graduate programs, students can also enroll at partner institutions to propel their undergraduate career into the graduate realm. Two recent graduates — Jani Pierre ’23 and Brennan Rouse ’23 — took the opportunity to pursue accelerated master’s degrees using the foundations they developed at McDaniel.

    This fall, Assistant Professor of Sociology Ginger Berndt was named managing editor of the academic journal Sociological Forum. Here, she shares insights on her new role in publishing an academic journal. From researching, reviewing, and keeping things organized, Berndt plays a key role in helping scholars achieve their dreams of publication.
