Students must submit an online application, personal essay, and a resume.
To qualify for the Fellowship, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Be currently enrolled at McDaniel as an undergraduate at the time of the internship.
- Have an internship already secured or have applied to a specific internship. The award is contingent on securing that internship.
- The internship must take place off-campus. Both domestic and international internships may qualify.
- Preference is given to internships that are unpaid.
- Be willing to respond to essay prompts reflecting on their experiences at their internships. Failure to contribute posts will disqualify you from remaining award payments.
The Summer Intern Fellowship Program is supported in part by generous gifts from The Rupe-Stuart Internship Award, courtesy of Board of Trustee member Mark Stuart MS ’94 and Timothy Rupe, and The Nora Roberts Foundation.
