    McDaniel College’s Admissions Office, along with the Green Terror, surprised five high school seniors from Anne Arundel and Carroll counties in Maryland and Lititz, Pennsylvania, with full four-year scholarships as the college’s newest Dorsey Scholars for the Class of 2030. The Dorsey Scholars Program is the highest academic honor at McDaniel.

    Five Baltimore City high school seniors from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, Benjamin Franklin High School at Masonville Cove, Green Street Academy, and REACH! Partnership School are recipients of full-tuition scholarships to attend McDaniel College as part of the Class of 2030. Each scholarship covers full tuition for all four years at McDaniel, valued at approximately $200,000 each.

    Westminster High School senior receives inaugural Carroll County Scholars full-tuition scholarship

    Representatives from McDaniel College surprised Westminster High School senior Jacob Noonan with the Carroll County Scholars full-tuition scholarship, valued at approximately $200,000 over four years. Noonan is the inaugural recipient of the scholarship, which is awarded to one Carroll County student who has participated in McDaniel's Carroll County Scholars program.

    Registration is now open for McDaniel College's Carroll County Scholars program

    All current 8th and 10th grade students residing in Carroll County are invited to receive free college search support by enrolling in Carroll County Scholars. Cohorts begin in the fall of 9th or 11th grades. Participants also receive a $100,000 scholarship to McDaniel upon completion of the program.

    First-year and transfer students awarded Educator and Military Legacy Scholarships

    McDaniel College has awarded more than 100 first-year and transfer students for fall 2025 with Educator and Military Legacy Scholarships, valued at up to $132,000. Any student who qualifies for one of McDaniel's Legacy Scholarships is automatically awarded the scholarship.

    McDaniel College expands Legacy Scholarships

    McDaniel College has added new guaranteed Legacy Scholarships for all children of first responders, health professionals, and government employees, beginning with students applying to McDaniel for fall 2026. This is in addition to our existing Educator Legacy Scholarship and Military Legacy Scholarship. McDaniel’s Legacy Scholarships are valued at up to $132,000 over four years and there is no limit to the number of Legacy Scholarships awarded by McDaniel.

    McDaniel sophomores receive Army ROTC Scholarships

    Two current members of the Green Terror Battalion, Landen Li and Connor Wolf, have earned three-year advanced designee Army ROTC Scholarships. The scholarships, which are awarded based on scholastic, athletic, and leadership attributes, cover full tuition and fees, plus additional funds for books, as well as a monthly living stipend.

    McDaniel President Julia Jasken was named to The Daily Record's Top 100 Women list for the second time and was honored during the award's 30th anniversary celebration on May 5, alongside Psychology major Janiah Fields, a 2025 graduate, who was the winner of the 2025 Top 100 Women Scholarship.
