Juried exhibition showcases undergraduate students' best artwork

Winners were announced during the opening reception of the Kathryn E. Wentz Juried Undergraduate Exhibition on Thursday, April 3. The exhibition runs through Friday, April 11, in Esther Prangley Rice Gallery, Peterson Hall.

Kathryn E. Wentz Juried Undergraduate Exhibition runs through Friday, April 11.

The Kathryn E. Wentz Juried Undergraduate Exhibition highlights the best artwork by undergraduate students at McDaniel College.

All students at the college are annually invited by the college's Art department to submit up to five pieces of art that they have done while studying at McDaniel for inclusion in the exhibition. Awards are presented for first, second, and third places, honorable mentions, as well as Best in Show and a Foundation Award.

Award winners were announced during the opening reception held Thursday, April 3. The exhibition runs through Friday, April 11. 

Harford Community College Professor of Art and Design Heidi Neff Chuffo served as the juror for the exhibition. Neff is a visual artist and animator. Her work has consistently explored the ongoing search for meaning through spiritual and physical connection.

Esther Prangley Rice Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., and Saturday, noon–5 p.m. Call 410-857-2595 for more information.
