McDaniel College to Open at Noon Thursday, January 19, 2022
McDaniel College will open at noon tomorrow, Thursday, January 20. All online Jan Term courses will proceed as normal.
Campus offices, including Hoover Library, will open at 12noon. Englar Dining Hall will be open from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. for brunch and 5-7:30 p.m. for dinner. Scotty’s Convenience Store in the Roj Student Center also continues to be accessible via your McDaniel ID card. The Hilltop Pub and Caseys’ Corner will remain closed.
The snow removal plan is in effect. Both the RED and GREEN routes on the Snow Removal plan will be in use when the College opens. All buildings will be accessible when the school opens, although you may not be able to use your normal path.
Please note the following safety advice:
Stay on clear walkways and avoid external stairwells.
Adhere to the signs posted as some sidewalks and stairwells remain closed.
As you enter and exit buildings, be cautious of wet, slippery floors and be mindful of snow coming off roofs and overhangs.
