McDaniel College students recognized at ROTC President's Review

On Friday, April 5, 13 McDaniel College were recognized at the ROTC President’s Review held at McDaniel, including:

  • Brandon Rozanski of Severn, Md., who received the George C. Marshall Award, the Department of the Army Superior Cadet Award, and was named a Distinguished Military Graduate.
  • Griffin Crowley of Cape May, N.J., who received the Military Order of the World Wars Lifetime Membership and was named a Distinguished Military Graduate.
  • Nevin Stambaugh of Taneytown, Md., who received the Military Officers Association Award and was named a Distinguished Military Student.
  • John Holbrook of Alexandria, Va., received the American Veterans ROTC Award and was named a Distinguished Military Student.
  • Cameron St. Andre of Westminster, Md., who received the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War ROTC Award.
  • Alexander West of Ashburn, Va., who received the National Defense Transportation Association ROTC Award.
  • Jeffrey Meadowcroft of Freeland, Md., who received the Society of the War of 1812 Award.
  • Carson Marshall of Brookeville, Md., who received the Sons of the American Revolution Award.
  • Claire Milne of Springfield, Va., who received the Daughters of 1812 Award.
  • Andrew Murphy of Eldersburg, Md., who received the Military Order of the World Wars Award.
  • Lillian Kim of Adamstown, Md., who received the Daughters of Founders and Patriots of America Award.
  • Andre Berry of Fort Lee, Va., who received the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Award.
  • Caleb White of Glen Burnie, Md., who received the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Award.

McDaniel has consistently been recognized as a Military Friendly School for doing the most for members of the military, veterans and their families. Army ROTC has been a tradition at the college since 1919, and the Green Terror Battalion, which includes cadets from McDaniel, Hood and Mount St. Mary’s, is one of the oldest ROTC programs in the nation. McDaniel’s Military Legacy Scholarship guarantees up to $100,000 over four years to all military veterans, active-duty military personnel and their children. McDaniel also participates in the Post-9/11 GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon Program.
