McDaniel College placed in College Magazine’s “Top 10 Colleges Near Washington, D.C.” ranking. McDaniel is not only the top ranked small college, but is the only small college in Maryland included among such schools as Georgetown, George Mason University and Johns Hopkins University.

McDaniel College has been recognized by College Magazine as one of the “Top 10 Colleges Near Washington, D.C.” McDaniel is not only the top small college, but is also the only small college in Maryland included among such schools as Georgetown, George Mason University and Johns Hopkins University.

“Just because McDaniel’s campus population clocks in at a cozy 1,500 doesn’t mean it lacks the academic and athletic opportunities of larger schools in the area,” as stated in the article.
