The DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Committee exists to ensure all the College’s alumni are engaged, Establishing opportunities for our alumni to connect with current students, the DEI Committee collaborates with the Office of Alumni Engagement to ensure networking, mentorship, and engaging events.

"Being a part of the DEI Committee has been rewarding, fulfilling and nostalgic. We have accomplished so many things since our committee was established in the Spring of 2021. We look forward to continuing to do the work needed to support the BIPOC and underrepresented communities at McDaniel. Inaugural Black History Month Convocation
Our Inaugural Black History Month Convocation featured human rights activist Rev. Nontombi Naomi Tutu. Participants appreciated Rev. Tutu's inspiring message of creating their unique stories.

Coming Out While Attending McDaniel
There are so many stories of how McDaniel changes lives and here is just one example. Lindsey Farrell '19 turned an uncomfortable event into a creative way to come out to her lacrosse team which changed her life forever. Lindsey's story was featured on Outsports.com.
