The Center for Experience & Opportunity continues to be accessible to alumni after graduation and serves as a gateway for you to stay connected with current students. Gathering together to celebrate and reminisce among friends and classmates, speaking to students groups, and volunteering to mentor are the best parts of being a Green Terror. In addition to signature events, the Alumni Engagement Office at McDaniel offers a variety of programming (virtual and in-person) throughout the year to engage alumni in the mission of our campus, connecting generations of Green Terrors.   • 1867 Green Terror

    1867 Challenge brings McDaniel community together to reach new heights

    Alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends showed their support for current and future McDaniel students during the 1867 Challenge, McDaniel College's annual giving campaign. The entire McDaniel community came together to raise $378,152 from 522 donors in 1,867 minutes to honor the college's founding year as part of "Reaching New Heights: The Campaign for McDaniel College."

    Help McDaniel students reach new heights during the 1867 Challenge

    The 1867 Challenge, an annual giving campaign to support current and future generations of McDaniel College students, kicks off Wednesday, March 11, beginning at 9 a.m., until Thursday, March 12, at 4:07 p.m. That’s 1,867 minutes of giving in honor of the year the college was founded.
  • NBC Carroll Co Teachers 2026

    Carroll County teachers who achieved National Board Certification through McDaniel celebrated

    On Monday, Jan. 12, McDaniel celebrated 39 new National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs) who participated in the college's three-semester graduate course sequence. All of those enrolled currently teach in Carroll County Public Schools and accomplished a 77% achievement rate, above the 71% current pass rate for National Board Certification.
