Beth Blasi McGraw '00 receives Green Terror Sports Hall of Fame Award


BETH BLASI McGRAW RECEIVES GREEN TERROR SPORTS HALL OF FAME AWARD FROM McDANIEL COLLEGE

McGraw of Forest Hill, Md., is a 2000 alumna of the college

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Beth Blasi McGraw of Forest Hill, Md., is a recipient of the Green Terror Sports Hall of Fame award from McDaniel College. She is a 2000 alumna of the college.

Presented annually during McDaniel’s Homecoming, the Green Terror Sports Hall of Fame award is presented to a graduate and former athlete who has performed outstandingly as an undergraduate athlete and who has contributed to society since leaving the college.

As a member of the Green Terror women’s soccer team, McGraw, who transferred to the college in 1997 for her sophomore year and graduated in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and physical education, is the college’s second all-time scorer among women with 40 goals. She remains a NCAA all-time leader by scoring a goal in 10 consecutive games. With 14 assists, she ranks eighth for the college in helping a teammate score. 

McGraw was recognized as a Centennial Conference first teamer in 1997, 1998 and 1999. She was conference player of the year in 1997 and 1998 and served as team captain in 1999. She was also selected to the 1997 National Soccer Coaches Association of America first team and made the second team in 1998. 

Currently, she is an accountant with the Harford County government and volunteers as an assistant coach with the Harford Football Club.
