BRENT C. FUCHS RECEIVES GREEN TERROR SPORTS HALL OF FAME AWARD FROM McDANIEL COLLEGE

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Brent C. Fuchs of Denton, Md., is a recipient of the Green Terror Sports Hall of Fame award from McDaniel College. He is a 2000 alumnus of the college.
Presented annually during McDaniel’s Homecoming, the Green Terror Sports Hall of Fame award is presented to a graduate and former athlete who has performed outstandingly as an undergraduate athlete and who has contributed to society since leaving the college.
Fuchs, who earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in accounting, played baseball all four years at McDaniel. He was the 1997, 1999 and 2000 team pitcher of the year. During his senior year, he won the Jim Boyer Memorial Award and was named 2000 team MVP and 2000 second-team All Centennial Conference pitcher. He set a record for career games pitched, and scored high in career games started, career complete games, career innings pitched, career saves and career strikeouts.
Currently, he is a certified financial planner involved in financial, estate, business succession and investment planning with Heritage Financial Consultants, LLC. In addition, he is a licensed life and health insurance agent. Fuchs is a member of the Resource Group, which is composed of the top 200 advisors affiliated with Lincoln Financial Advisors. He has also qualified for the Million Dollar Roundtable each year since 2012. In 2016, he was recognized as the Caroline County Chamber of Commerce’s Businessman of the Year.
An avid sports fan, Fuchs enjoys playing golf and actively supports a number of nonprofit organizations in Caroline County, Md., including Sweet Caroline, Caroline County 4-H, Caroline County Library and the Chesapeake YMCA.
