Charlie Conaway '00 receives Green Terror Sports Hall of Fame Award
CHARLIE CONAWAY RECEIVES GREEN TERROR SPORTS HALL OF FAME AWARD FROM McDANIEL COLLEGE

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Charlie Conaway of Grand Junction, Colo., is a recipient of the Green Terror Sports Hall of Fame award from McDaniel College. He is a 2000 alumnus of the college.
Presented annually during McDaniel’s Homecoming, the Green Terror Sports Hall of Fame award is presented to a graduate and former athlete who has performed outstandingly as an undergraduate athlete and who has contributed to society since leaving the college.
Conaway, who earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from McDaniel, was a member of the Green Terror wrestling team and is the college’s leader in career pins with 60. He also holds the first, fifth and sixth all-time totals for pins in a single season.
He was a 2000 NCAA All-American and that year also won the conference’s outstanding wrestler award and the Chris Clifford Award for most career points in Centennial Conference tournaments. Twice serving as team captain, Conaway won the Centennial Conference championship in 1999 and 2000.
Currently, Conaway is a contact center sales specialist for Dimension Data. He remains active, enjoying mountain biking, rock climbing and paddle boarding.
