First I Love the Hill Day more than doubles goal
The McDaniel community came together Feb. 27 for the first I Love the Hill Day with 525 donors supporting the College with gifts totaling $64,735.
More than doubling its goal of 250 donors, the day topped off the fifth annual I Love the Hill month — a time when alumni, students, faculty and staff share the many reasons they love the Hill. Among thousands of responses, one common theme resonates: the Hill shapes lives.
For I Love the Hill Day, alumni, faculty and staff ambassadors helped spread the word via email and social media. A command center in the Decker Center Forum welcomed the campus community throughout the day, and students still checked in close to the midnight close.
