I Love the Hill month brings blizzard of heart-shaped love notes
February may have been light on snow but there was no shortage of love on the Hill. McDaniel’s third annual I Love the Hill campaign charted a record 1,377 love-note hearts and gifts totaling $282,231 for the annual fund.
Students, alumni, faculty and staff alike embraced this year’s theme of “love notes,” with hearts written to professors, departments, roommates, teammates, friends, mentors, Glar, President Casey and the College itself.
“I Love the Hill month was designed to connect alumni, students, faculty and staff with the College,” said Christina Steinbrenner, executive director of advancement engagement. “In our third year, we were thrilled to receive a record number of heart messages and saw an increase in attendance in campus events.”
