McDaniel College exceeds donor goal and raises record-breaking donations on I Love the Hill Day

I Love the Hill Day was a resounding success thanks to the alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends who came together in support of McDaniel. Together, we exceeded our goal of 725 donors, ensuring we can support every student on the Hill today and for years to come. In fact, we raised more than $150,000, which is more funds than ever before on I Love the Hill Day.

Today is I Love the Hill Day! We’re kicking off our 24-hour challenge to the McDaniel community to make this year’s goal of 725 donors in one day. President Roger Casey kicks off the day in his welcoming address here. A generous donor has offered to contribute an additional $10,000 towards the Fund For McDaniel if our campaign receives 300 donations by the end of the day. These are some of the different shirts from I Love the Hill Day, including this year's purple design.
This year, we have heard from so many members of the McDaniel community with their reasons for why they love the Hill. On campus today, we have handed out purple "I Love the Hill" T-shirts in Ensor Lounge, celebrated every donor number we have hit, and even had an appearance from the Green Terror. We have already hit over $100,000 in donations. This is the most ever raised on #ILTHDay. And we have less than 50 more donors to go until we reach our goal!

I Love the Hill because the Hill brought me together with my best friends, introduced me to so many incredible opportunities. Mentorship here has helped me grow into the best version of myself. All of these experiences have helped me become me.
