According to The Princeton Review, McDaniel is one of the nation’s top colleges for students seeking a superb education with great career preparation at an affordable price.

In its website profile on McDaniel, The Princeton Review highlights the McDaniel Commitment, which provides mentoring and coaching, as well as guarantees that every student completes at least two experiential learning opportunities, including service learning, study abroad, student-faculty collaborative research, credit-based internship or independent study, by graduation.

McDaniel is among only 7 percent of the nation’s four-year colleges selected for the list based on survey data covering academics, affordability and career preparation collected from administrators at 656 colleges, as well as students attending the schools. In addition, The Princeton Review used data from PayScale.com surveys of alumni about their starting and mid-career salaries and job satisfaction figures.

McDaniel is also the #1 “Best Value” regional university in the north, according to U.S. News, and ranked high for ROI in a study released by Georgetown University’s Center on Education and Workforce (CEW) for both 10-year and 40-year career earnings.

Additionally, McDaniel has been recognized as a “Best Value” by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance and placed at the top of the “Best Bang for the Buck” list by Washington Monthly. McDaniel has also been named one of the nation’s 50 Best Small Colleges quality and affordability and one of “America’s Top Colleges” according to Forbes. For the first time, McDaniel appeared among “The Best 385 Colleges” in The Princeton Review’s 2020 annual college guide.
