McDaniel ranks #1 ‘Best Value’ regional university in the north by U.S. News

McDaniel College is #1 among “Best Value Schools” and ranks as one of the best universities in the North region in the U.S. News & World Report “2020 Best Colleges” rankings.

McDaniel College is #1 among “Best Value Schools” and ranks as one of the best universities in the North region in the U.S. News & World Report “2020 Best Colleges” rankings released Sept. 9.
 
Institutions on the Regional Universities lists offer a full range of undergraduate degrees and master’s degree programs. U.S. News looks at factors such as class size, admission selectivity and retention and graduation rates to determine its overall rankings. 
 
McDaniel also made the new “Top Performers on Social Mobility” web ranking, which highlights schools that are successful in graduating high-need students. 
 
“McDaniel is an institution that is committed to access and affordability with the college providing over $40 million annually in grants and scholarships to our students,” said McDaniel College President Roger N. Casey. “We are particularly proud to continue to be recognized nationally for our efforts to not only recruit and enroll, but also graduate low-income students, many whom are among the first in their families to attend college.” 
 
Additionally, McDaniel has been recognized for “Best Undergraduate Teaching” and is once again named among “A+ Schools for B Students.” 

McDaniel's recent accolades include:
