McDaniel College selects students into the Global Fellows and National Security Fellows programs.

The Global Fellows program is designed to enhance students' understanding of global issues, develop heightened intercultural competency, and cultivate the skills and attitudes important to leading successful lives in a global context. Through the program, students create a global portfolio and earn a Global Fellow designation on their transcript upon completion.

The National Security Fellows Program pairs with any program of study and provides McDaniel students with robust knowledge, skills, and experience in national security as well as the ability to specialize in an area of interest, such as interstate conflict, intra-state political violence, cybersecurity, ethics, and human rights. Selected through a competitive application process, students for the program are recognized as National Security Fellows upon completion of the program.
