McDaniel students study abroad during spring 2024 semester

During the spring 2024 semester, nine McDaniel College students immersed themselves in another country through their study abroad experiences in Budapest, Hungary, Seoul, South Korea, and Cusco, Peru.

Sophomore Social Work major Sara Parietti studied in Cusco, Peru, where classes in English and Spanish helped her gain valuable experience in both her major and minor areas of study.

 

During the spring 2024 semester, nine McDaniel College students immersed themselves in another country through their study abroad experience. Students studied at McDaniel's European campus in Budapest, Hungary, Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, and in Cusco, Peru.

Over one-third of McDaniel students study abroad for academic credit in more than 50 countries.

  • Ethan Clark, sophomore Political Science major from Mountain View, California, at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea;
  • Meira Colley, sophomore Social Work major from Lakeville, Massachusetts, at McDaniel College Budapest in Hungary; 
  • Miriam Green, sophomore Communication major from Atlanta, Georgia, at McDaniel College Budapest in Hungary;
  • Lauren Guyer, senior Biology major from York, Pennsylvania, at McDaniel College Budapest in Hungary;
  • Lily Miller, junior Sociology major from Myersville, Maryland, at McDaniel College Budapest in Hungary;
  • Shaylynn Murphy, junior Sociology and Criminal Justice major from Snohomish, Washington, at McDaniel College Budapest in Hungary;
  • Sara Parietti, sophomore Social Work major from Clayton, Missouri, with ISA in Cusco, Peru;
  • Emily Rosenbaum, junior History major from Lutherville, Maryland, at McDaniel College Budapest in Hungary;
