The job, internship, and grad school fair is only a week away -- now is the time to register, if you haven't already. Other events coming up this week include Free Stuff Friday, Being Black at McDaniel College panel discussion, and a documentary viewing of Chez Jolie Coiffure.
Hey folks, it’s Rich Goodman from the CEO. Look, I know you’re out here working hard, getting them A’s, doing big important things, being a boss. And I get it, maybe you’re not even thinking yet about what you’re doing beyond the classroom to set up for the future you want.
So I’ll tell you what – let me help you! How about a virtual Job, Intern, & Grad Fair? If you haven’t heard yet, it’s next Wednesday, February 24, 3-7pm. Over 150 employers and grad schools from different industries are scheduled to attend. That makes this our BIGGEST job fair ever.
Once you click “register” on Handshake, you will need to sign up for the 10-minute 1x1 interviews and the 30-minute big group info sessions that work for you! Claim your spots now with your favorites of the 150+ attending partners.

Join in on the Being Black at McDaniel College Panel Discussion
On Wednesday February 17, at 6:30pm, BSU, ODEI and Sister to Sister welcome Dr. Richard Smith ‘00, Janel Cubbage ‘14, MS ‘16, and Sierra Brewer ‘18 to share their experience of being a black student at McDaniel College.

Discuss toxic masculinity and emotional vulnerability
Green Terror Table Talks, a weekly virtual space for students of color, presents “Real Men Don’t Cry: Dismantling Toxic Masculinity” on Thursday, February 18, at 3pm. A panel of speakers, including Dr. Ruiz, Dr. Upton, and Jordan Davis, will speak about emotional vulnerability.

Participate in a documentary viewing -- Chez Jolie Coiffure
On Thursday, February 18, 7pm, Dr. Gérard Keubeung, Assistant Professor of French, will lead a showing and discussion about Chez Jolie Coiffure, as part of the World Wise Documentary Series. Sign up in advance: http://tinyurl.com/btie2x5h.
Chez Jolie Coiffure is a documentary about Sabine, an owner of a hair salon that created a space for a community of West African immigrant women in Brussels, Belgium.
