CANCELED: President Julia Jasken hosts free family-friendly Outdoor Movie Night on July 27

Due to the weather forecast, tonight's Outdoor Movie Night at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium has been canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience. (Note: there is no rain date scheduled.)

McDaniel College President Julia Jasken hosts an outdoor movie night on Thursday, July 27, to welcome the community to McDaniel’s campus. Movies at McDaniel takes place at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Maryland.

This free family-friendly event features Disney’s “Encanto” along with glow giveaways. Refreshments will be available for purchase from McDaniel College concessions starting at 7:30 p.m. Movie begins at approximately 8:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs.

“Encanto” follows the Madrigals, a magical family who live in the mountains of Colombia, including Mirabel, who is the only Madrigal child who wasn’t blessed with a magical gift. “Encanto” won both an Oscar and a Golden Globe for best animated film in 2022 along with three Grammy Awards.
