McDaniel’s delegation of 16 students represented Nepal in the National Model United Nations 2018 conference March 18–22 in New York City. The team received an honorable mention delegation award and freshman J.E.B. Myers of Littlestown, Pa., was selected to serve as a rapporteur at the conference following a competitive selection process.
“All of the McDaniel students acted as effective diplomats, resolution writers and negotiators in a way that reflected positively upon both them and the college,” said Francis Grice, assistant professor in the Political Science and International Studies department at McDaniel and advisor to the group. “I am happy to see such a large and engaged group of McDaniel students involved in the Model United Nations student organization.”
