Two seniors at McDaniel were named Fulbright finalists for English Teaching Assistantships (ETA) and 2009 alumna Justine Koontz received a Fulbright to study music culture in Latvia.
Melanie Ojwang of Jessup, Md., is spending nine months in India, while Morgan Stanback of North Highlands, Calif., is in Panama during the 2016–2017 academic year. A passionate choral composer and conductor, Justine Koontz ’09 is in Riga, Latvia, studying the music culture of the “country that sings.”
