Explore Upperclass Housing

First-year students, sophomores, and juniors are required to live on campus unless they live with their parents or are over the age of 25. Upperclass students have several options for housing on campus. Options include traditional residence halls comprised of mainly double rooms with some singles and triples, apartment style living in North Village or Garden Apartments, and college-owned houses located on Pennsylvania Avenue bordering campus. Students may apply to live in substance-free areas or affinity housing. Other areas are reserved for members of a particular fraternity or sorority to live together as a group.

These locations are treated as on campus housing with Resident Assistant coverage, Campus Safety response, Physical Plant maintenance and repairs, etc. The houses have a wide range of style and bed capacity, have one or more common spaces, a kitchen, and typically some lawn area. Bedrooms have a regular or XL twin bed, desk, chair, dresser drawers, and closet or armoire per student. Most houses are used as part of the College's Affinity Housing program or as Substance Free Housing locations for students.
