All admitted students are automatically given a student ID, unique username, and email account and are asked to set up a password for access to our learning management system called BlackBoard Learn®. This information and instructions on setting up and accessing your account is emailed to your personal e-mail address you provided when you applied to McDaniel.

Technology Requirements for Online or Hybrid Learning at McDaniel College

To participate in a fully online or hybrid course at McDaniel, students must have a reliable computer with webcam and microphone and high-speed Internet access. It is also highly recommended that you have a headset with microphone capabilities to help provide a learning environment for you and your peers that eliminates background noise and distraction.

Your instructor will specify any additional hardware or software requirements.
